Search Filters

Full Text: mark the box or choose full text to make sure you get the complete articles.  The library database contain full text articles AND just summaries of articles, so you need to choose full text.

Peer Review: articles that are reviewed by professionals that are nurses, health care professionals, and doctors.

Publication date: limit to two years

Each database has a filter to limit the date of the articles.

Search terms

To find articles on the benefits of a vitamin or a mineral, you must use simple words or phrases.

1. Use the name of the vitamin or mineral

2. use role with the name of the vitamin or mineral

3. use health aspects and the name of the mineral

4. use the name of the mineral with the phrase in the body: iron in the body

5. use the name of the vitamin with health: vitamin D health
