Library Research for Literature

Library research for literature usually falls into these categories:

(1) Literary criticism: Book chapters or articles that analyze a short story, poem, novel or play.

(2) Author biography: Information about the life and work of an author.

This online library tool contains literary criticism, author biographies, and overviews of poems, short stories, etc. Search by the title of your piece of literature or by author's name.

Search the author of your piece of literature (your short story, novel, poem, play, etc.) in the "Subject" box to find both biographies and criticism.

Search by title of literature or author's name.
