The NCC Librarians would like to welcome (and welcome back) students for the Fall 2022 term with some exciting library services updates:
EBSCO has released a new search interface for EBSCO Discovery Service, the NCC libraries' all-inclusive search tool. The new interface launched on August 22nd with enhancements for accessing, searching, choosing, and using library resources. The intuitive design includes a modern results list and an updated dashboard that allows searchers to personalize their EBSCO experience with alerts, folders, saved items, and more with the creation of a personal EBSCO account. Greater citing, sharing, and liking options, a new PDF and eBook viewer, and a redesigned Publication Finder complete the interface. A new and improved mobile experience comes with the EBSCO Mobile app for research anywhere across any device, at any time. An updated video tutorial demonstrating searches in the tool will premiere on the NCC Libraries YouTube channel and be posted to the library website in the coming weeks. View the new EBSCO Discovery Service here.
Earlier this summer, Oxford University Press migrated the library's collection of Oxford Handbook titles to the new Oxford Academic platform, which improves access, search, and usage of these eBooks. View the new Oxford Academic here.
The librarians are pleased to share these new and updated learning materials:
